Carly is the founder of Habitat Design, a venture she launched nearly a decade ago, driven by her passion for creating beautiful and functional interior spaces. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Carly transitioned from being a successful Australian National Team athlete to pursuing her love for interior design. Now, with over 20 years of experience in the industry, she has spent the last 18 years living, being inspired by and designing in New England (East Coast USA), specializing in the coastal charm of Hamptons-style homes.

Upon returning to Sydney, Carly continues to work remotely with clients along the East Coast of the US, also with local Sydney and Central Coast clients, seamlessly blending her international experience with her Australian roots.

When she’s not busy designing stunning interiors, Carly is a dedicated mum to two very active kids . She has a passion for travel, always seeking inspiration from new destinations and cultures to bring fresh ideas to her work at Habitat Design.
